Lesson 4: Last Days « Thread Started on Jul 2, 2004, 12:20pm »
Last Days.
Now let me take you a bit deeper. I’ll tell you about the last days. I’m sure you’ve heard people predicting the end of the world. Lots of people talk about the last days. Today’s Christians believe that the Last Days will bring volcanic explosions, coming of the Anti-Christ, nuclear wars, and cataclysmic destruction of life. They urge you to hurry up and accept Christianity for that reason. Many people even called the recent terrorist actions against the U.S. the precursor to the end of the world.
In the past there were many groups that predicted 1999 to be the end of the world. Now they pushed the dates back to 2023. Most people don’t believe any of this but it does give them some anxiety. They don’t believe it will happen but they’re not sure it won’t. Why? Because the earth is exhibiting some strange phenomena nowadays such as global warming, terrible environmental pollution, and the seemingly imminent danger of nuclear war. Most don’t believe that the end of the world is coming but most do believe that it could happen in the way Christians describe. Of course Christians are sure about it.
Spinoza said he would plant an apple tree even if the world ends tomorrow. He says this because he isn’t sure if the end is really coming.
So let me clarify the Last Days for you today. Christians keep talking about such a Last days because the bible speaks about it. The book of Revelations contain especially much about the end of the world. John was one of the last surviving disciple of Jesus. Before he died, he wrote down prophecies about the future. Lets see what he wrote in Revelation 6:12-14.
REV 6:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Here we see that when the sixth seal is opened, there are great earthquakes, the sun will be darkened, the moon will turn blood red, the stars in the sky fall like figs from a tree, the sky will recede like a scroll, and every mountain and island will be removed.
When you look at this literally, it really does seem like the end of the world because stars are falling, mountains are moving, and earth is quaking. And it seems fitting because Revelations speaks of the Second Coming.
(Then there is a diagram: The Old Testement = 4000 years The New Testement = 2000 years The Completed Testement = 1000 years
And arrow points to the end of the 2000 year Old Testement Time Period. Obviously thats where we are today....at the beginning of this "Completed Testement" Completed Testement is a term the Moonies use, and of course they were using it before Jung came along)
The obvious reason for this is to get follwers to think that we are at the dawn of a new era, an ear in which the Messiah will come...who is that Messiah...by the time you get to lesson 30, you will discover that Jung is The Messiah...ok back to the lesson....CaptP CaptP

In general we think the Old Testament was 4000 years, the New Testament was 2000 years, and the Completed Testament as being 1000 years. (Explanation of the chart)
We call the third stage the Completed Testament because it will be the time the Messiah will come and complete everything. Christians refer to the Completed Testament as the Millennium kingdom as well. You’ve heard of the “Millennium” haven’t you?
As you can see, we are living at the starting point of the Completed Testament. Christianity says that the sun, moon, and stars will fall when the Lord of Second Coming comes. However, because the Lord hasn’t returned and because the world hasn’t ended, no one is sure how the world will really end.
We’re not sure if the end of the world will come on 2023 as some speculate and we’re not even sure if the end of the world will come as the Christians predict it will.
As I told you earlier, there is a way to find out. You can use the tool of cause and effect. If we examine what was prophesied before Jesus came and how they were fulfilled, we can figure out how it will happen in the future. If we can figure out what happened to the prophecies in the Old Testament and how they were fulfilled at Jesus’ time, we can figure out what will happen with the prophecies that were made concerning the Second Coming.
The prophecy of sun, moon, and stars falling from the sky wasn’t unique to Revelation. The same prophecies were made in the Old Testament in the book of Isaiah. Lets look at Isaiah 13:10
ISA 13:10 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. Here we see that the stars of the heaven will not show their light, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light. The Jewish people were afraid that the sun, moon, and stars would turn dark at the coming of the Messiah. Another terrifying prophecy about the Last Days is in Joel 2:13
JOEL 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
Again we see that the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood. Joel 3:15 says that the sun will be darkened and the stars no longer shine. JOEL 3:15 The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.
As a result of these prophecies the Jewish people thought that the sun, moon, and stars would turn dark and lose their light while the stars fall from the sky when the Messiah comes. Just as today’s Christians are a bit nervous and afraid of the Messiah’s coming, the Jewish people were also somewha

They were afraid that he would come with a cataclysmic destruction of the world.
Unfortunately, Jesus was born as an ordinary man in a manger in Bethlehem. That is why the Jews don’t believe in him. Jesus, as Messiah, should have fulfilled all of those things, shouldn’t he? In other words, if he is the Messiah, he should have fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies. Jesus himself said, “It is finished. I have fulfilled all the prophecies.” How did that happen? That’s why I’m telling you all those things are parables. They were all parables. What do they mean? The Sun refers to an external, visible leader. In a house, the father is the sun, the mother is the moon, and the children are the stars. In terms of politics, the president is the sun and the vice president is the moon. What is the bible about? It’s about religion. Therefore, the sun, moon, and stars that the bible speaks of are religious leaders. Let me explain. The greatest leader in the Old Testament was Moses. Moses’ commandments and the 10 commandments are kept sacred and holy to the Jewish people even to this day. “Don’t worship any other gods before me. Don’t murder. Don’t commit adultery.” The Jewish people kept these commandments as if their lives depended on them. Moses was a sun for the Old Testament. That is why Moses was compared to the sun. He gave them light. That is why Moses was referred to as the sun, other religious leaders as the moon, and the followers as the stars.
To these people who believed in Moses and his commandments, Jesus rose like another powerful sun at the end of 4000 years. Jesus, the sun, rose powerfully in the New Testament. He proclaimed the new word. The message was different than the message preached my Moses. Moses told people “Do not murder. Do not commit adultery.” Jesus told people, “Even if you hate your brother you are a murderer. Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery already.” His message was that much tougher.
MAL 4:1 "Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the LORD Almighty. "Not a root or a branch will be left to them. 2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.
The Jews were only concerned with the fact that his message was different from Moses’. Moses said “Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.” Jesus said, “If someone slaps you on the right cheek, let them slap your other cheek as well.” To the people locked in the world of the Law, Jesus proclaimed the words of faith and gospel. Jesus told them, “Believe and you will be sons of God.” The Jews responded by thinking it was strange of Jesus to say that because Moses called himself a servant of God. They felt it was blasphemous of Jesus to claim to be the son of God. To the Jews, Jesus was a complete psycho. They thought, “He’s out of his mind.” In today’s terms, he would be considered the ultimate heretic and his religion the ultimate cult.
The sun, moon, and stars were figurative. They were spiritual. Nothing physical happened when Jesus was born. But spiritually, B.C. became A.D., The Old Testament and New Testament split, and monumental things happened in terms of God’s history. The falling of the sun, moon, and stars refer to spiritual, not physical events.
It’s like a change of presidency. When the former president leaves office and a new president takes over, the new president becomes the sun. With the appearance of the new president the old president lose their light. That’s what the parable means.
When the new history of God began and the Messiah proclaimed his words, Moses’ words lost light, and the religious leaders who honored Moses’ words lost their light, and the followers of the Law lost their light. This is what the parables were referring to. Even the concept of the “Last Days” is different. Consider the following chart. (Another diagram showing the OT, NT and CT, with an arrow pointing to the end of the NT / beginning of the OT) labelled as Point B

We think the last days is point (B) that you see here.
We consider this point, the end of the New Testament and the beginning of the Completed Testament, to be the Last Days. However, according to the disciples, according to Peter who lived 2000 years ago, Jesus’ time was the Last Days. Lets see what 1 Peter 1:20 says.
1 PET 1:20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.
Here, it clearly states that the time of Jesus, point (A) was the Last days. It is stating that the time of Peter, was the Last days. The same point is also made in Hebrews 1:2
HEB 1:1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. It shows here that the time, in which God spoke to us through Jesus, was the “last days.” It is also mentioned in Hebrews 9:26 as follows:
HEB 9:26 Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrews 9:26 shows that the time Jesus sacrificed himself was the “end of the ages.” Also in Acts 2:14-17 Peter describes how the day of Pentecost, what was happening to them at the times, is what was prophesied in the Old Testament about the Last Days. AC 2:14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16
No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: AC 2:17 " `In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
Peter called 2000 years ago, the time in which he lived, the “Last Days.” Yet nothing happened. And we are living as though nothing has happened. We’re still saving money in our accounts. Some people don’t even put money in savings because they think the world is coming to an end.
Therefore, people have the wrong understanding of the “End.” What is the “Last Days” of the Old Testament? It is the new beginning of the New Testament. What is the “Last Days” of the New Testament? It is the beginning of the Completed Testament. The “End” of spring is the beginning of summer. The “End” of summer is the beginning of fall. The “End” of fall is the beginning of winter. And the “End” of winter is the beginning of spring. History circulates endlessly, improving each time. And the world will never be destroyed because God watches over it. God stated on many occasions that the earth will remain forever. See for yourself. In Ecclesiastes Solomon said, many thousands of years ago, that the earth will remain forever. Ecclesiastes 1:4 reads: ECC 1:4 Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
It clearly says, “Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.” The earth is eternal. And on this earth, which remains forever, there were many “Last Days.” End of early history is the beginning of the middle ages, the end of the middle ages is the beginning of the present age. In this way history recurs at higher and higher stages.
Christians claim that the end of the world will come. They believe in a linear concept of the Last Days in which the world ends. They are holding on to the “Flat earth” view that there is a point beyond the horizon at which you will fall off the earth. But that is wrong. The earth is round. In the same way, the “End/Last Days” of the Old Testament is the beginning of the New Testament, and the “End/Last Days” of the New Testament is the beginning of the Completed Testament. And if the Completed Testament does end, a new era will dawn.
That is why if there is a physical world, there is a spiritual world. If there is a woman, there is a man. If there is a positive, there is a negative. If there is a sun, there is a moon. Everything exists in pairs. If there is a body, there is a spirit. Therefore, if the spiritual world is eternal, the physical world is also eternal.
Why would God destroy a world He worked so hard to create? It doesn’t make sense. The bible provides the evidence. Peter said that his time was the Last Days but the Last Days, as we know it, didn’t come. So I advise you to keep putting money into savings accounts. You will have no problems with that.
The “Last Days” that Christianity claims will not happen. Absolutely not. Yes something did happen in 1999. But it was a spiritual event, not a physical event. As Nostrodamus prophesied, a big transition did occur in 1999. But it was a spiritual transition. Yes something will happen in the year 2023 but it’s not going to happen in the way Christians think it will.
Great commotion was stirred in 1999 but now most of them are quiet. In 2023, they will stir again. If you keep studying with me, you’ll understand what that is. The bible does prophecy those things but because people don’t understand them properly they really believe that such an end will come. Christians believe that. They don’t realize that the prophecies are not literal but figurative, that they aren’t physical but spiritual. That misunderstanding has caused so much harm and trouble. Those things keep happening because they don’t realize the fundamental meaning of the Bible.

CapT talking...interesting that although the cult portrays itself outwardly as a "Christian" Church, by the 4th "Bible Study" lesson there is already an emphasis on the cult being "seperate" from and "smarter" than mainstream Christianity.
Not surprising since the intended result is the worship of Jung, rather than Jesus...and no it isn't the same thing, not even close,
Also interesting that they refer to a spiritual event happening in 1999. 1999 was the year the Jung left Korea to "spread his message to the world" coincentally, it was also the year rape charges were brought against him in Korea, making it, in terms of his personal freedom, a rather good time to leave the country.
